Incorrect extra payment

I went to Mexico at the beginning of the month but my phone wouldn't connect to my sky sim.

I had bought an eSIM in advanced so before my sky sim connected I turned it off and had my eSIM on.

Ive received a bill for £200 for the data (nearly 100) I've used in Mexico but I don't understand how or why when I had my sky sim turned off and I was using my eSIM?

I tried calling skys customer service for help but the lady kept saying it's the data I've used on my sky sim even though I turned it off?

I can't get the money back and I feel like I've been robbed of £200 for something I didn't even use. Let alone pay more to start with for an eSIM.

Can anyone help if they've had this issue before please and if you managed to get any money back?

TIA

Hi @GS0516  if you waited until you got to Mexico before turning your sky sim off then it's most likely connected to the local network immediately and began using data, hence the charge.
