I’ve just ordered a new iPhone 16 and it requires an eSIM. How do I get one ?

I've ordered a new iPhone 16 plus and your confirmation email states I need an eSIM. How do I get one ?

@Richard501  You order an esim at https://www.sky.com/shop/mobile/plans and select esim option on the relevant plan

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

The iphone 16 will take a physical sim and an esim.

As @caesarome indicates, it's only in the USA where Apple has chosen to specify an eSIM-only release (from the 14 onwards) because eSIM availability is much more established in that cellular market.

 

The rest of the world still gets hybrid physical SIM / eSIM iPhone hardware.
