@JP2034

BPO Collections are a genuine debt collection company that are used by Sky and other providers. That's not to say the person contacting you was not a scammer falsely claiming to work for BPO but I doubt it.

Thanks Daniel. I think I am going to have to take further 'debt' advice, perhaps Citizens Advice or FCA, as I've tried explaining to BPO I have been scammed. How I obtain a solution is beyond me.

Hi Julie

This is all very concerning as we have an outstanding credit agreement which i fear will be damaged , Sky in deed do seem absoletely useless and even more concerning the collection people seem totally unreasonable from your latest comments which is also worrying , we have reported to action fraud but as we have lost no money as yet it's not a crime until we have lost money then its fraud and a crime, we have checked and douable checked our bank accounts and no new debits or payments have beeen set-up, we never had any emails or anything the first we knew of this was tuesday night when i opend the letter thinking it was to do with my TV account. i will be very greatful yes of any contact emails and people you have contacted, as i feel we are heading the same way, Fed up of ringing sky already as the first stumbling block is enter the account detials which we dont have, but again reading online sky is absoletly riddled with this kind of fraund and they put their head in the sand . Many thanks for your reply although not good news for us by the sound of it this will be draggin on for some time ridiculous since we and you have done no wrong. kind regards Paul

And that there is the problem an absolute beast of a communication and media company and you can't speak to a fraud department. And by the sound of it they don't wont to speak to us either Shocking but not surprising !

Hi Paul.

I've now had responses from both BPO and Sky. Both have provided numbers to ring and email addresses. I can't contact either today but will try tomorrow. If I have any luck with either, I will share those details with you.

Hope you don't mind waiting until I've made contact.

Here's hoping.

Julie

No as I say any to help for us to clear this up quicker will be appreciated, as yet we have had no response from Sky even thou they have been given both our numbers and my wife's email , unsure how we can communicate out of this forum as this seems to get edited. I really hope you get a solution, many thanks again

To add to this, they should be contacting you   It's unbelievable your have to chase them to clear your name . You should not have to spend your time clearing up their mess and incompetence.
