Problems roaming in the Uk

Recently went to UK and phone was working ok for the first day. From day 2, I had no service until I landed back in Ireland. I have an eSim and iphone 13 pro max and all settings seem ok. Any ideas?

Try settings your phone's status to home or automatic. If you have an iphone this can be found via Settings > Mobile Data > Network Selection.

The exact same thing has happened to me in the UK - i thought the first episode was a glitch but it's done it again on another trip. I've tried all the help options on here and nothing working. Hoping it works when I get home to Ireland. It did the last time. I reinstalled the eSIM when I got home. Have an eSIM on iPhone 15 Pro. For the second time I've had to get a data only eSIM to have any connectivity at all, but nothing from my primary line working today.
