I just ordered a iPhone + sim but I think I need a eSIM

I just ordered a iPhone and sim but just heard about the eSIM what do I do

You can convert the sim to an esim once you have activated it once it has arrived as per this:

Make sure your device is compatabile though as per this list:

Hi @Lynn2208  you can still use a physical sim if you want, you don't have to use esim. There have been a few reports of issues with esims on the new iPhone 15s not working so may be worth sticking with a normal sim for now.

It's the US release versions of the 14 and 15 which are eSIM only.  The rest of the world still gets models with SIM trays.
