I can't send sms back to my mother in England when I am abroad. She is android and I am iPhone.

Where abroad are you ?

Can you phone her ?

Can you use mobile data ?

Although you don't have to do you have a spend cap set ?

I can phone her. I do have a spend cap but I am not anywhere near it. I am in Sweden. I can use my other roaming features.

No reason why a SMS won't send - are you sending to a +44 format number?
