How to avoid being charged Passport Plus abroad but still be able to receive calls/texts?

Hello, I do not want to get automatically charged the £2/day when I travel into Europe. How do I switch the Passport Plus off? I do not see any button anywhere to do so. But I don't want to put the plan in Airplane mode. Bevause I do still want to be able to receive calls/texts from the UK.

@Reb2026

You need to turn off mobile data and roaming in the settings on your device before you leave the UK, if you do not know how to do this then post back with what phone you have got so someone can help you.

Hi @Reb2026  you could try turning off mobile data and data roaming in your phone settings. Be aware if you send a text or make a call then that also triggers the £2 charge. Personally I also put my phone in flight mode but then turn on WiFi and use free WiFi when available. Use WhatsApp or similar to message and call.
