How does the mobile trade payment work when there is a promotional value applied?
Hello,
I am considering switching to sky mobile and taking advantage of the Pixel 10 Pro XL trade in offer. I currently have a Pixel 7 Pro, so would revieve £57 plus the £250 promo value. This will be a new deal, not a swap, but I do have a tablet on an existing account. I understand that the trade in takes place once the new deal is in place and I can get the IMEI number from the new handset.
With all of this in mind, my question is, can I get the entire trade in value of £307 paid directly by BACS transfer? Or does it partially or all have to be applied as a bill credit? The new deal only works for me if I can take the entire value as a BACS transfer.
Thanks!

@Gliderboy96 Anything you receive from sky will be applied as a credit against future bills
the only way it goes to your bank is if you close the Sky account

I'm normally agree... If it's a Sky swap then it's definitely a bill credit. However, the wording of non-swap is possibly ambiguous and doesn't state it's credit.
From the skytradein T&C's: https://www.skytradein.co.uk/terms-and-conditions
"BACS transfer: Once we’ve received and processed your device, provided it matches the description and is in accordance with these terms, payment will be made to the designated bank account within 3-5 working days. If your payment date falls on a weekend or public holiday payment will be made on the next working day."
