Help my account

Today they called me from Sky. I couldn't speak much because I don't know English but they told me something about my account. They said they would call me again but I don't know any day. I couldn't understand very much. Please don't you have an email address? How can I contact you? I can't communicate with you either through email or live chat. And why when they called me? But as far as I know, it's important because they said something about my account. I bought a tablet before and they shared something about that and they said they would call me again because I don't know any day and my husband is not always at home. Please share with me if you have an email address and if you need anything about my account, please send me the email address. I will answer you but don't call because I don't speak English but I can share everything with you about his email address and my husband is not always at home because he works. I am having a hard time with this issue right now because I don't know English and they asked for family names. I can't understand anything.

None of that can mean the call was actually from Sky as the number shown that they have called from can be spoofed.

 

Next time they phone if that should happen, they should ask you for your telephone password, so give them a wrong one as they should not accept it if it is from Sky.

Two things…


Firstly, are you 100% happy the caller was really from Sky and not a scammer?


Secondly Sky don't use email for general communication.

I don't think he is a scammer because the first person he called me was my name and surname and he also said that I bought a tablet before. I think he said something about paying with Onur but I couldn't understand it completely. I also looked at the number and it was a SKY number.

Still be careful.  If your account is compromised they can look up that information...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
