Emergency calls only

I have a Samsung S25 Ultra and for the last 2 days I have not been able to make/receive calls, make/receive texts and use my mobile data. My phone either shows emergency calls only or no service. Is there a way to get through to an advisor to help? I have tried restarting my phone, manual network selection, even traveling to a different city to see if its a problem with the signal in my home location but nothing has fixed it

Added this on another thread but reposting here in the hope it helps someone...

_____

I've also had this issue for 6+ days - despite the back and forwards with support, no resolution was forthcoming.

However, I've managed to fix this myself - posting here in the hope that it'll help someone else (assuming the cause is the same)

- On Android, find the 'Sky Menu' app.

- Select 'Roaming'

- Ensure both 'Automatic' and 'Sky Settings' have '>' in front of them.

I've never changed these settings ever but somehow, this combination has fixed my issue.

Re: Emergency calls only

Exact same issue. 3 days. Chatted to support and now nothing. No updates or acknowledgement of there being an issue at all. Useless. I'm currently signing up for a new SIM only plan elsewhere for about 7 quid a month cheaper because the service is simply not delivering what I'm paying for. Sort it out Sky.

Re: Emergency calls only

It does show mast issues for me but it's also showing mast issues for a city a travelled a couple of days ago that was also nearly 100 miles away. I've seen a few other posts on here regarding similar issues with their signal. I would try the reset esim but it asks to send a code to my phone which I can't do at the moment.

Re: Emergency calls only

Same for me. Showed mast issues the other day, but now no issues and no issues where I am working which is miles away from my home. If I try to reinstall the esim it says it can't due to an issue with the network provider. MFA is also a pain given I can't receive texts.

It's even preventing me getting my PAC for the same reasons.

Other half is on GiffGaff which is O2 backed and no problems there.

Re: Emergency calls only

It is not the mast. It's the sim. I wish Sky mobile would just acknowledge and sort.

Re: Emergency calls only

I am having the same issue. Happened Saturday and sky have said they will send me a physical sim card as I'm currently on an esim but not confident this will fix the issue especially as the advisor said they would send me a text after me already stating the issue is no network so cannot make/receive calls or texts. I cannot seem to find where to look on my phone settings for your suggestion of how it could be fixed. My phone is android. Can't wait the 6 working days they have daid it could take for the sim to arrive 😞 Any help would be greatly appreciated

Re: Emergency calls only

To find the menu, simply search your apps menu for Sky. As you start typing, ignore all of the shiny apps, you should see a weird looking one appear which I think has a picture of a SIM card on it. Go into that menu and you will see the settings that you need to configure. It definitely does work. However, I'm no longer with Sky Mobile for this exact reason. All the best with it.

If it helps, you can transfer to most new mobile providers on the same day and transfer your number the day after so it's much quicker than waiting for the new sim.

Re: Emergency calls only

Amazing. Fixed in 2 seconds. Now why couldn't sky do that? Thank you so much 🙂
