I appreciate you trying to help me. I'm 65, disabled, live alone and my mobile is my only way to connect people. It usually works fine.
I've checked my local mast status and it is fine. No reported work issues in my area.
I checked my services at my address. It suggested wifi was the issue, but then it said it was working properly as was broadband too.
I will screenshot the results I've just checked.
If you can think of anything else to help me resume a Sky network connection on my mobile, I'll give it a try.
Thank you.

Sorry for the delay. I've been following all the Sky trouble shooting info, but to no avail. It leads as you suspected to a ereplacement SIM card.
When I go to Settings - Connections - Sim Manlager - it clearly shows SIM 1 Sky and my phone no with the blue toggle switch on.
When I go to Settings - Connections - Mobile Networks - Network Operators, I switch off the toggle switch in order to scan networks. My Sky network comes up along with a variety of others I presume belong to my neighbours. When I scan the neteworks, Sky appears. I press Sky and it tries to register on Sky. Eventually it gives up with a message appearing, saying "Unable to conect. Try later".
Does this still seem like it is a SIM card issue?
I have a spare SIM card. Could I use that instead of sending off for a replacement? It came with the phone. They also gave me one in the shop when I ordered the phone. Should I just follow the instructions on here to "Activate a replacement SIM card?
Thank you so much for your help tpday. Hopefully this will be the last step. I hope! Jill

You only have 30 days to activate that sim card after you received it otherwise it automatically gets cancelled so you might not be able to do it if it be more than a month which I presume that it has been.

Thank you very much for your help. I think I am a little clearer why it's not working now. I didnt' know the SIM cards had a finite time. I've had it about 2 yrs!
I'll order a SIM card in the morning I hope it comes before Friday as I'm going abroad on my hols.
I very much appreaciate your time in helping me. Thank you!
Jill
