E-sim number change?
Will activating and e-sim change my number?

If you activate any SIM then it will have a new phone number.
If you have an existing physical SIM then you need to convert it to an eSIM (Which will retain the number and dataplan).

@Geekay63 Did you order a new data plan? Or are you using your current data plan on your physical sim? if the latter you just need to convert the physical sim to esim, not order a new one.
Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
