Did anyone get a email about ordering a new phone but still have money come out

Hi 

so I ordered a new phone probably about an hour ago and I just wanna check if anyone got an email from sky say that there order was successful or anything like that because I'm kind of panicking cause I'm changing over from o2 and they have taken money when the shouldn't have

Was this email before you ordered the device? The obvious question is - are you completely happy the email was from Sky?

)2 are the worlds worst about mobile phones, I was waiting 3 weeks for a new IPhone, I kept getting texts saying your order will be with you in 2 to 3 weeks time, I am still waiting on it, which I cancled, I ordered my phone from Sky on Tuesday, got it Wednesday.

Yeah im changing to sky now but did u get any confirmation email to say about the phone cause o2 nearly taken 100 out of my bank last night

If you only ordered the phone an hour ago then it might. D a bit early to start worrying about it. If for any reason you fail the credit check then you would be sent an order cancelled email. The latest on your order wshod appear here within 24 hours or so:

Imo if you're swapping over to Sky & have ordered a new phone then 02 wouldn't be taking money from your account but Sky. I it is indeed 02 then you'd need to contact them to find out why.

The charge (if from Sky) could be that you've just passed the credit check so have taken a deposit for the device.
