Data still not working!

HI all,

 

I joined Sky a few weeks ago and have had nothing but trouble since. To cut a long story short, my mobile data is not working even though i have signed up for an unlimited plan. I have installed a new SIM, followed all of the online help guides and called sky 5 times but nothing is working. I have tried to complain through the chat once too once but it cut me off saying they were having technical difficulties. I cannot get through to anyone who can help me. I really need this data and I don't know what else to do. When i try to get online it just says 'PCP cannot be activated'. Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix it or know where i can speak to someone who can help? They just say they don't know when i can because all options have been exhausted.

Hi @LindsayPoole  have you checked the correct APN settings are stored in your phone ?

Hi, I'm having data issues too, maybe a silly question but how do u check what the correct APN. number should be.

Morning, I had an iPhone 13 Pro Max, now have an iPhone 16 pro max. I've not been able to use the iPhone 13 for ages, decided to up grade but I've not been able to transfer everything over. I'm stuck with two phones not working. I'm going to just move my old sim over to iPhone 16 to see if it will work.

Hi @Shas14xx  go to settings, mobile service, mobile data network. Check that the APN is set as mobile.sky and you should have a one for mms as mms.mobile.sky
