Data has gone

I bought 2 new sims for my daughters for

xmas and when it came to use them the data was all but gone and no one used it

What dataplan?  Initial activation gives a pro-rata amount until normal billing date.

 

(any 'free' dataplan is only 100MB and can be used in minutes)

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

One of them is 3gb and the other is 5gb it was less than that before it was even activated how can this be

When you activated these two as explained above you would not have received the full amount as what you got would have been based on how many days it will be before you are billed for the sims so it could be far  less than 3GB and 5GB so check again after you are billed as you should then see the full amount.

Seems abit sneaky that.. my next bill date is in 11 days so they've got no data for 11 days how do they get away with that? Why can't I have the full amount but charge me for it straight away? This cant be  common practice surely

When were these activated as the only way you will have got the full amount is if your first bill was 4 weeks away which I doubt it is so what you get is based on how many days away your first bill is.

I activated them on Xmas day thinking I would get the full amount.. can't remember when I got them but I didn't activate straight away with I should've done then o would've got more data correct?

 It might have done but again it is all down to the billing date. If you activated them on Christmas Day then with each sim you have had about 13 days worth of data if your next bill is now about 11 days away.
