As i was on vacation I couldn't pay for 2months and my account went to debt collection, i have to pay 500£ sky sent me a letter to pay the balances by 29/07/2024 where 373£ for debt collection and 127 for sky. I got salary on 26/07 and i paid the amount for debt collection and sky and cleared the balance of 500£. Unfortunately it is weekend and debt collection did not updated by 29/07. So my contract got cancelled and it is showing 3150£ bill for next month. But in my perspective i payed the bill before the deadline they gave.
could anyone suggest me on this please

Have you spoken to the debt collection agency about this ?

I tried to call them on 29th call didn't connect, but i spoke to sky and informed them i have all proofs that i have paid on 27th. But they did not accept it and said you should have directly paid to sky instead paying to debt collection
