Not for months but for 4-5 days, some customers have been experiencing similar issues discussed in this long thread
If you meant to type a new sim is required then ask Sky to send a replacement in case yours has developed a fault. These are sent out via Royal Mail.

Re: Continued known error
A simple thing of turning your phone off and on or switching to Airplane mode doesn't help.... ive done all the basics and uploaded new network settings
Nowhere on Sky App or website does it offer a SIM replacement..... gave up phoning as either get cut off, wrong department or noone ever answers

Re: Continued known error
That link is useless, already accessed that via APP and it just gives you phone numbers again or try Community.... ive been there already and chat is a waste of space as noone understands you as is the same with any live chat service

Have you just tried saying you believe you sim has developed a fault so can they send you a replacement sim to try so without going into to much detail ?
