Charges for failed text (sms) messgaes

I have checked  next months mobile bill and I have additional charges for what I know are failed text messages, will these be automatically refunded?

Test messages are free within your package usually unless they were to other numbers like premium rate ones or were you somewhere in a "rest of the world" roaming country so does any of this apply to these texts ?

I was attempting to participate in a competition via SMS but the attempts failed, but charges are aligned to next months bill.

So 'premium' texts which are not inclusive in your plan.

You'll need to contact Sky (Call 150) to challenge any charges if you think they failed.

I dont 'think' they failed, they did fail as i have notifications within my sms folder that say 'couldn't send message' at the time I also recieved notifications that the message(s) had failed almost instantly.

...but if they have appeared on your bill Sky may feel differently about it...
