The £2 daily charge doesn't apply as it is a "Rest of the world" destination so these high charges apply:

£2.16 per mb of Data (not Gb)

£2.16 per minute Calls to local or UK mobile and landline numbers

£1.80 per minute to receive calls

£0.50 per text message to UK numbers and mobiles

£0.58 per picture message(MMS)

Hi @Carly44  it will be expensive to use roaming in the Dominican Republic. To avoid charges it's best to turn off roaming and mobile data in your phone settings then activate flight mode before leaving the UK. If you wait until you are in the air or landed then you will incur charges. Once there just turn on WiFi to use free local WiFi.
