It might be worth checking that the number is correct on the phone is you have moved the number from a different network to the Sky sim:
Settings > About Phone > My Phone number, change it and reboot the phone.

I think it may be that my phone is locked to 02 🤷🏼♀️although I can still get internet

That could well be the issue, as for the internet is it connected to Wifi ?
