I'm trying to make most of a black Friday deal by ordering a new phone. I've been with sky for over 11 years and have never had any problems before.
I select the phone, select the SIM card, go through and pass the credit check. Everything seems to be fine and then when I click complete order, it comes up with a screen saying 'there is a technical error, don't worry it's us not you' or something to that effect. Has anyone else had this problem? I've tried on multiple devices and my computer but all end the same way. Everything goes fine until the complete order button is pressed.
I have spoken to sky this evening speaking to 2 different representatives. Neither of them seemed to understand my problem and the call centre was about to close so I gave up.
I had something kind of like this before when I was trying to buy a film from the sky store. Turns out there was some sort of block on my account which they removed and allowed me to purchase the film. Anyone heard of anything similar for buying phones/SIM cards?
If anyone has had similar and was lucky enough to be able to resolve it, I'd be really grateful to hear from you.
Thanks
