Cancelling mobile credit agreement

Sky customer services is a joke I am no longer with sky mobile, and want to cancel a credit agreement for a mobile phone which I want to return for valuation, so that I can pay off and cancel the credit agreement. They are insisting that I can only do this by swapping my old phone for a new one and new mobile  plan, so they can retain me as a customer, I no longer have any services from sky apart from this damn credit agreement and will not be rejoining sky for any services. I should be able to cancel this credit agreement, return the phone have it vaued and pay off any difference if there is any. They are using dirty tactics to retain me as a customer and make me take out a new contract. What a joke this is. I will be making a complaint about this ! Anyone else having this problem when trying to cancel.

They are correct - Sky Mobile does not offer a service for simply returning the device to reduce any credit balance.  You either swap or pay off the balance (either in lump sum or usual monthly instalments)

There are a number of firms that offer a trade in for cash services.  (Including a Sky-branded service but this is not 'Sky Mobile')

There does not appear to be any basis for a complaint.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
