Can’t ring or use data new iPad and new sim

Hello please help. Got new iPad and sim for it off sky . Registered sim ok. Tried all settings can't get it to work outside home also can't ring on it I'm so confused spent ages on phone to help guy then line went dead or he hung up lol advice please

You do need a sim to use the mobile data network on the go but you can not make calls via a iPad.

@Vonnie57  Ipads are tablets and as such are not calling devices, if you wanted it to male calls a phone is what you need.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hello I was told if got sim I could use internet on the go ? Is that not true please
