Can’t complete call/text from overseas
We're in the US. When I tried to make a call I was told that it couldn't be completed due to exceeding my spend cap.
the spend cap was off so I set it at £100 but no help. I also transferred 5gb from my piggybank.
the virtual assistant keeps telling me to phone a uk number, but I can't make outgoing calls
I might dump sky asap!!

Not sure what message might appear but could you have used excessive data?
There is now a fair usage policy. Roaming using Roaming Passport Plus is now limited to 25GB per billing period then it's £2.50per GB. Sky can apparently temporarily suspend the service if used to excess.
From Skys own website...
When you roam using our Roaming Passport Plus, we consider that up to 25GB per billing period is a reasonable amount of data to use. If you exceed this amount, we'll assume that you're no longer using data in the way expected of a reasonable customer for periodic travel.
