Can’t FaceTime without Wi-Fi

Since coming over to Sky nearly 2 years ago I have been unable to FaceTime without Wi-Fi. I have contacted Apple and they have advised to contact my network provider but unfortunately I have been unsuccessful so far. Does anyone know how I can do this in settings or do I just need to persevere trying to speak to someone? Side note my husband is also in the Sky network and his works fine

What is happening when you try to do this via mobile data ?

Ensure mobile data is enabled for the app:

Settings > Mobile Data > FaceTime > Set ON

Unfortunately FaceTime isn't on the available apps

Make sure you scroll down, it's towards the end

Also ensure in Settings > FaceTime that your phone number is listed in the 'you can be reached by FaceTime at' section

FaceTime definitely isn't in the list and my number and email address are in the 'can be reached by FaceTime at'

Sky Mobile doesn't support "Facetime over Mobile".

That's probably not the news you are hoping for, sorry, but is why you don't see the options other users have mentioned.

The information is the same. Just the original link uses Celluar instead of Mobile.

Hi @Binarytales  FaceTime on my iPhone 12 on sky definitely works both on WiFi and mobile data.
