Calling a sky mobile number when it's abroad

Hi

We are going to Morocco on holiday. 

We will add the sky passport to the contract while away. 

If someone from the UK rings us when we are aboard will it cost them more?

They would need to check with their provider or is that Sky Mobile/Talk ?

Just to add, using your Sky sim in Morocco will be very expensive as it falls under "rest of the world" charges.

As above, there is no passport for Morocco.  You pay for your usage:

£2.16 per MEG of data (not Gig)

£2.16 per minute calls

£1.80 per minute to receive calls (anecdotally it seems this is charged by the local carrier even if calls unanswered)

50p per text

Unless you are happy with these charges then ensure your phone is set to flight mode and only connect to WiFi.

I should imagine it might cost them a bit as it would you to receive the call as you can see from the posts above.

@GLambert80 It may be worth getting whoever is going to be calling from the prison to speak to a member of staff to see if that sort of call is possible, if it is then it may well be more expensive so they would need to make sure their prison account has sufficent funds to cover the costs.

Calling a UK Mobile from the UK will cost the person in the UK the same wherever in the world that UK Mobile is located.

The charge is determined by the number you're dialling not where that phone currently is.

In addition you will only be charged for receiving a call in Morocco if you answer a call, not if someone calls you and it's unanswered or they leave you a Voicemail.

If the person in Morocco was to then listen to the voicemail @Ollos123 would they be charged international rates ?

Yes. It would be the same cost as a call to the UK.
