Billing and sim card

Hello, this is my very 1st phone contract  and I haven't activated the sim that came with my phone, can I add the sim I currently use on SKY?
also can I pay ahead of my pay due, my payment date changes and I was wondering if I can pay before hand because, last time I paid and they kept sending me notifications saying I didn't pay but I did pay ? Thank you

@Bacaoanu  You can use any sim in  the phone from Sky as they are not network locked.

@Bacaoanu  If you have an existing Sky sim then yes you can use that in the new phone.

@GD1

I know but I didn't activate it, I haven't used it, it's still in its packaging. That's what I meant

@Bacaoanu  So to be clear do you have an existing Sky sim & a new Sky sim?

It isn't a good idea to do this because if you get your timings wrong Sky will still take the money from your account meaning you would be paying twice. Once you have paid your first two Sky Mobiles bills you can change your billing date if you want.

@caesarome

That makes more sense but I've only paid for 1 month as in last month and this month will be my second bill but was I suppose to pay for 2 bills already ?

If you are paying by direct debit or have a card payment setup then Sky will take the money when the bill is due so let them do this.
