I want to know what does credit mean on my statement? It says credit £271.00
im confused of what that is?

have received any form of compensation from sky or have you been paying your bills manually whilst Sky has been taking the payments automatically?

A) have you been paying your bills manually when you already have a direct debit or continuous card payment setup
or
B) have you received some form of compensation
you can usually only receive a refund for A

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreSo as stated by myself and @SKY1992bf you don't need to make these manual payments as Sky will take it from whatever payment method you have setup on your account.
To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
