No numbers are blocked by default unless you yourself have blocked such numbers via your phone itself.

I understand that but the last time (and no I haven't blocked any 0330 numbers) I was expecting a call from what I now know to be 0330 number, I never received it and missed a major appointment. Today I was advised to check and see if these numbers were blocked as it has happened to customers before.

It's not something I've heard before and as stated by @caesarome they'd only be blocked if done by the customer.

No incoming numbers are blocked by Sky. I seem to remember an occasional report of calls from switchboards being problematic such as Drs surgeries, schools etc.

@Miastone It may be worth checking your spend cap, I'm not with Sky but my provider incorrectly blocks some 0330 numbers if the spend cap is set to £0 as they think it may be a chargeable call.
It is happening to me I can't receive any hospital calls they go straight to voice mail they are not blocked or on my don't answer caller list , sky are useless and said they don't know why that's happening and offered to send a new sim card
Why do 03300 numbers go straight to answerphone and not ring, they are used by our nhs do we need these important calls, I tried raising spend cap, unblocking , and checking no answer caller list list but the number is not listed so it's to do with the provider but when I ring sky they just don't understand what I want
