Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

I have ordered the same phone as you been in progress for weeks order on the 12/10/2025 got told at fulliment centre and that's it been waiting 4 weeks now

I ordered the iPhone pro max 17 256gb deep blue on the 22nd of October and have just had my email from dpd saying it's being delivered tomorrow.

Myself and my friend both ordered on release day, and neither received the phones or much of any correspondence from sky. however she's cancelled her order and has changed from the orange 256gb to the blue 256gb , she had to pay the £24 upfront cost and has had the message from dpd to say her phone will be delivered soon, since paying the £24 this is the most correspondence she has had, I think it's very bad if sky do not send out the pre ordered phones and are only sending the ones that people have paid the upfront cost for to re imburse for the ones that have "ended up in the sea". Regardless paid upfront or not the service providdd by sky has been awful for many people

I paid the upfront on pre-order day. This was for a Pro Max 1TB. Didn't receive anything yet.

I ordered on the 14th October iPhone 17 PM 256gb deep blue and just had my dpd email saying expected delivery tomorrow. Not sure how reliable this information is. If anyone else has any reviews? I will update tomorrow

Very relevant for me as my order was on the 16/10/25 iPhone 17 pro max cosmic orange 256gb your was 2 days before mine so gives me hope I may get mine this week

Wouldn't bank on it. Ordered mine on 7th Oct, 17 Pro Max cosmic orange 256GB. Not had a single message from sky since the original order confirmation email. Phoned today as originally said 3-4 weeks. Told on back order and will get a notification when its ready.. Will give it a few days before cancelling.

I have ordered the new iPhone 17 Pro Max on the 7th October last month and I have still not received any information about the phone. I haven't received any emails or updates other than it's in progress or coming soon. It's been 5 WEEKS now and no change. Most estimated 3/4 weeks i have been checking emails and everything everyday and no change. Can someone please tell me what's going on.????!

Just goes to show not to listen to whatever the people on the phone are saying. It appears that a lot of the Sky customer support team dont actually know what is going on. I do think there are some who may know though. 

For example, I was asked to cancel and re-order to get my phone quicker. The lady on the phone told me my phone was on back order and would be 4-6 weeks. I'm glad I chose not to re-order as I got an email from SKY and DPD saying my phone should be delivered tomorrow. I think the customer support team have no idea what the actualy delievery team are doing and dont really have any input over the delivery team. I imagine that the delivery team is set up in the UK. 

Ordered Iphone 17 PM 256gb Silver on 02/10. Email rec'd 04/11. Phone delivery due 05/11.

I have noticed they are getting around to orders. I was able to see from people here that my phone delivery should be around now. I ordered on 02/10 and got my email today. If I had to guess, I would say yours is still 5-7 days away from being delivered.

As we’re customers here we have no insight into stock levels or any delivery timescales.

iPhone 17:~ If the order is for a latest model iPhone, delays are always likely due to the usual supply and demand issues faced by Apple. This happens every year when a new iPhone is launched.

After credit checks have been completed the most up to date information on your particular order should become available at:
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/track-sky-order

When your order is ready you should get an email from Sky, and then another from the courier (in the UK that’s usually DPD) which should have details of your 1 hour delivery time slot.

I pre-ordered on the 12/09 for the 17 iPhone Pro Max Deep Blue. After the first delay, it was understandable due it to being such a new phone and all. The second delay was starting to get a bit miffed due to Sky sending multiple messages with different dates. When the third delay came around, I onlined chatted and phoned the customer service number to be told there was no stock and had no idea when they'd be available.

After waiting nearly 2 months, I contacted Sky today about the delivery as I wanted to be refunded and cancelled. After looking on my orders saying there was an update to me order and nothing showing up. I decided to give the online customer service advice a go. They said they could not find any information on my pre-order and that it had been lost. I had to re-ordered an entire new phone and pay again. 

Got an email just now, saying it's being delivered tomorrow.

Im actually so baffled at how badly Sky have managed this

@7thsky  look at @draeburn19 post. It's entirely possible that those who pre-ordered really early have had their orders lost. You need to contact them, get a refund and then order again. Obviously call them and speak to someone to see where your order is first.

Yeah, the online representative managed to start a new order out today and that I would have to wait for the original pre order to be cancelled! 

It's just so crazy how that if people have pre-ordered a product or service, they'd be the first to have some sort of confirmation or news!
