I had the exact same! Told 100% will be with me today despite hearing nothing from DPD. Called this morning as still had no tracking etc and the lady said she can see I was meant to get it the 19th and she's not sure why I haven't received it but that she's opening an investigation (I was told this Tuesday too but this new woman tells me that it was never done!) she said I won't get it today, offered me £9.50 compensation and said she won't give me a date because she does not know at all when I will get the phone. It's a present for my daughters birthday on the 1st and due to the cost of it, it's the only thing she has!!!! I'm just fuming because I've passed two opportunities to get it picked up from the Apple Store due to being told it will be delivered the 26th! Also had no record of me even being text that despite me having it clear in my phone. Just seems a shambles!

I got fed up waiting and ordered the pro max 512 blue from tesco mobile they had stock this morning it's all cleared for delivery tomorrow  you can't cancel sky so I  shall return it. There ordering system is a mess. I ordered on preorder day around 1315 all I get is in progress coming soon

I ordered 17 pro max on 13th September and have been receiving updates which keep changing the delivery date. It was due to be delivered today 29 September but there is no tracking and notification is still only showing "in progress". Has anyone else had this?

My latest update: after lot of excitement/frustration/worries finally I received the iPhone 17 pro max  1 TB cosmic orange on 25th sep. 

and the excitement last longed for only couple of hours ( ☺️) , after the complete transfer of data from my old iPhone 15 pro max the new phone was ready to use.  while checking whether the photos and files are transferred from my old phone of not, I. e while zooming the picture from photo library suddenly I noticed distorted/multi-color patch in vertical position appearing on the screen and after zooming out it was staying on the screen as it is for something and then vanished. Initially I thought it was software update glitch and then I tried restart the phone multiple times. By the way the display issue happing only one few images ( format of images are HEIF)  but it was working fine on my iPhone 13 Pro Max.

so I didn't delayed , I raised the return request with sky today and also placed the new order for the replacement.

Uff, again I'm in the long ending queue. As per sky agent it's going to take 3-4 weeks from today ( hopefully this time if I get a working mobile I will be glad 😌 considering the hooping cost of the device 1800 pounds).

yeah so just want to share my bad experience here, so request everyone to thoroughly check your device post delivery. There may be possibility of faulty device due to the high demand or may be I'm the unlucky  one.

Hi everyone, still not got mine either. Surprise surprise. iPhone 17 pro max orange 512gb.

I called this morning, my order has been dispatched and will be with me before 5. I said obviously not as I've not had anything from DPD. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and left it 20 minutes before calling back, second advisor told me that it isn't coming today but the first week of October, transferred me to her manager. Asked her why it's alright for her team to constantly lie for weeks, it's not even annoyance about the phone... if they just said it's delayed most people would be okay with it - but there's no updates and then when you ask for one it's just lies after lies.

I've escalated this 4 times now and complaint email, but no reply. I don't expect anyone to get back in touch at this point.

Absolute shambles.

@Apollofreya @I ordered the same phone on launch day by phone (website kept crashing) and it has just been delivered by DPD. Last week I had an email saying it would be delivered by 4th oct then last night I had email to say DPD were expecting my parcel and this morning another today it was at my local depot. 

Fingers crossed for anyone else waiting

Thanks  - It just says 'In progress - coming soon'. I ordered an Iphone Air at the same time and got delivery for that last Friday (19th)!

Another call to sky this morning and another load of **bleep** useless information. Now advised:

"Backlog states it will now be four weeks for delivery on the iPhone Pro Max 17 256gb cosmic orange"

Anyone who hasn't received this as of yet it's likely not to arrive before the end of October. 

Absolute shambles.
