The point is many people, myself included ordered from Sky because they were told delivery would be on launch day.. I'd have simply gone elsewhere should I have known it wouldn't be on launch date.

You do realise every supplier is in the same boat....including Apple, so unfortunately if you went elsewhere you'd probably still have to wait.

Hi @Owenash  keep an eye on your order status in your account for any updates. If there is no order showing then call sky for help.

Hi @Itsham1  that would indicate sky are waiting for stock of your phone choice, keep an eye on there for any updates.

It literally stated DELIVERY ON 19th, not just release date but DELIVERY ON

Re-activate e-dim on iPhone 17 pro

I tried to transfer from iPhone 15 pro to 17 pro but the transfer kept failing. The e-sim did transfer and the sim was deactivated in my old phone.  I had to reset the new phone to try the transfer again. This eventually worked, however the reset deleted the e-sim. I now don't have a working sim on either phone and can't make or receive calls.

How can I reactivate the sim?

You don't need an eSIM unless you have an iPhone Air. All other iPhone 17 models for the UK market still have a SIM tray, just move your SIM card to your new phone.

Re: Apple iPhone 17 range and iPhone Air available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

I think those of us disappointed made the mistake of assuming pre ordering meant we were gaurunteed to get the pro max on release day.  it's a fair assumption and one sky should be aware of. whilst I don't blame sky for the stock issues I do blame them for how they have handled it. They should know what their stock allocation is going to be, once the allocation is reached mark the phone up as out of stock. The worse thing to do is keep people on the hook and leave allocation as a lottery whilst gaslighting everyone else. No it's not the end of the world and acting like spoiled brats to people in an Indian call centre who probably struggle to make ends meet about a £1000+ phone isn't a good look. But never the less it is frustrating - I'd hope sky would look to remedy the issue for next time but given they've had issues before and still have record numbers of people ordering from them means they probably won't bother.

Phone is being redelivered today between 12:30-1:30! Praying he is not as incompetent as the one from yesterday!!!
