Just been on the phone to sky as saw a couple comments regarding the phone delivery being fast tracked when threatening to cancel. According to the person I spoke to, the text I received stating my iPhone 16 pro max in white would be delivered on or before the 27th September is true and he guarantees it will arrive by then. He said the deliveries are batched, the first batch was 20th and not many people received their phones and the next batch is 27th. He said I was in the second batch..... dunno what to believe tho

@SamB1996 You've more chance believing that we'll get a promising October budget than the mixed messages we've been told.

According to the text I got, if delivery is supposedly this Friday, something should update tomorrow or Wednesday. I can't even grab the phone from any retailers or even apple! All of them are saying it's a 3-4 week delay 😞

Well the phone calls are recorded so if I haven't received it by next week I will be asking them to review the call and lodge a complaint for me. They are causing themselves no end of trouble with all these mixed messages. I won't hesitate to take it to the ombudsman if they fail to satisfy the trouble they've caused

@Kalim me and you and suze all holding out for these Pro Max desert titanium's. I think we might be rumbled. I tried to look for one in Apple in London but nothing. Nothing down in somerset either

I'd like to think that anyone who is purchasing now or in the last few days will have to wait until the pre orders are fulfilled. Apple won't sell its stock directly to consumers until they've been able to satisfy the orders through 3rd party sellers such as sky etc. That time frame they're stating should be the estimated time for pre sale orders to be cleared and normal service to resume

@champagneslay yeah same with me 😞 I was actually down in Bridgwater today for work and popped down to Apple store on way back but they didn't have any there either for the desert colour and just pro max's in general.

if not received Friday I will lodge a complaint also.

@Kalimvery close! yeah it's just as sparse. if i don't hear anything by 27th - i'll put a complaint in also. They can't stop us all.

@champagneslay after about a 20 minute wait, i finally got through. the man was really polite and helpful. he said my phone's on pre-order and there's still no delivery date in the system for my decide. he said that no one in sky would have an idea when they're getting stock in, and that it could be tomorrow or next week or in three weeks time. he said there was a customer who was supposed to get their phone on the 20th but now they're not getting it until october 21st.

he also said to give it a week or two, and if there's still no email or text then to call up again because they might have an update by then. he said they have no stock at the moment, and they have no idea when the next stock will be delivered 😕

@jagb @Yikes! at least he was polite. It's such a weird thing getting so many different stories from them - like someone said they have no idea. I guess as we preordered I hope it's sooner rather than later

@lauren1210 me too, i'm still confused by what the sim complete means - none of the agents answer the question when i ask
