Apple iPhone 16 range now available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

It's the same deal as it has been every year with sky and the iPhone. Skys communication very much does need to be improved upon. Mostly on the support side since you seem to get different stories from different agents and some turn out to be straight up lies which is really uncalled for.

I've been with them 3 years never had a issue until last year waiting for the 15 pro max delivery date kept changing and was so annoyed ended up changing and was looking at 6 week wait so cancelled and managed to get it with Tesco mobile next day but , I would wait and see for the next 2 weeks as at the moment everything is out of stock and waits of 6 weeks + and then look around but I'm holding out this year just hoping it's better then last year

The person I just spoke to told me they aren't expecting anything yet then said expect an update in 3-4 days. I don't think they actually know anything at this point

I think if I don't have any updates by tomorrow or Wednesday, I'm strongly considering cancelling and buying elsewhere so I can get the device quicker. I can't run risk of paying extra now as I am out of contract. 

i was expecting at least some sort of update but maybe 2 more days might do.

@Kalim I agree, if I don't hear anything this week I'll probably give up. It's the being left in the dark that's winding me up.

@Kalim I'm with you there, I definitely think that if I don't hear anything by Thursday night and it isn't delivered on the 27th like they've told me it will be, then I too may look at cancelling it

I was told yesterday that my phone had been dispatched! (Ordered the desert titanium pro Max) however my app hasn't updated itself and I have had no texts so think I've been lied to now 🤣

A dispatched message could mean that is had left Sky and is on its way to DPD so once they process it you should then get a message from them with a one hour delivery schedule.

@champagneslay 100% - it's the lack of information and the fact that me, yourself and others included pre-ordered on the basis of getting the phone on release date yet no news. I was expecting at least a text or email to let me know what's going on. 

I requested my PAC code and cancelled my plan and booked off work. And now I'm having to ask someone to stay home all week.

Everyone is in the same boat, every provider and even Apple have failed to deliver the pro max to people. 
Cancelling your order and trying to get it elsewhere will not help, and actually you'll probably lose your existing better date and wait even longer. I repeat this is not a sky issue, it's an Apple supply issue to everyone including providers and direct customers. They are starting to come through though.

Just called sky and I pre ordered on the 20th they said the maximum delivery date I can expect would be 10/10/24 so I am guessing it will be earlier for the people who pre ordered earlier
