@champagneslay Ahaha same but if you've been told what I was told maybe that's a good sign. I spoke to a person on a Sky store Stall in my town and they said they had more stock delivered over weekend yesterday and into midnight.

yea I got physical sim and sometime on Friday the status updated to "completed coming soon". And on my bill payment section status changed to we're preparing your first bill.

@champagneslay hopefully that's the case for me too but I won't hold my breath. Especially since I get the unhelpful members of staff on chat who won't admit new stock arrived or anything.

I've spoke to so many people who have been so unhelpful too. I spoke to Neil, and Aaron and they seem to be the most helpful. I know someone else spoke to Neil. 

We're in the dark, it's quite frustrating

@champagneslay if you go onto your sky account I believe it's under bill and payments section but there's no physical bill to view. For me it says it's being prepared and it'll be with me soon

Hey all, been lurking in the shadows on this post and thought I'd pop up to say I join you in your sadness and have some thoughts. I have ordered:

-IPhone 16 pro max 256gb natural tiranium

-iphone 16 pro max 256gb desert titanium

both were ordered about an hour and a half after the pre orders went live (website was just dieing)  I got a text Thursday gone saying 27th September for natural and then a text saying 4th for desert.

one of these is coming with a SIM card and that now shows as complete.

I follow some YouTube "influencers" on Instagram in America whome have had this exact same issue, they ordered from Walmart and was told 20th and have now been pushed back to the 4th of October which leads me to believe this is a global Apple distribution/manufacturing issue and nothing to do with carriers or stores at all.

right now you can not buy an iPhone pro max from anywhere and that specific model has preorders going to nearly 2 months (less for 512/1024)

Unfortunately I think there is nothing sky support can tell us because they don't have access to delivery manifests and some of them appear to be also waiting for their own handsets so if they could get inside information they would have.

I hate waiting for things it drives me crazy and not even having a hard date to wait on that I can be confidant in is even worse. Hopefully we start getting some people having deliveries go out in the next few days and I will be sure to let everyone here know when at least I do to hopefully inspire confidence that we will all one day have our new phones so the world will be just again and we can all hyper focus on somthing else 😂

@SpitfireEU yeah I got the same text regarding the 27th so fingers crossed we hear something soon! I read an article yesterday about the US having similar issues with the 16 Pro Max. It would be nice to have some further communication from Sky though

Yeh I agree, I'd be happy even if they said it's coming in 3 weeks and gave me a definitive date so at least I can plan a round delivery and just forget about it.

But I suppose also sky can't tell us what they don't know so I'm doomed to just open the sky app 732 times a day and check my order and keep checking the Dpd app incase it's appeared in there and check my emails over and over for good measure!

@SpitfireEU im in the same boat checking the DPD and sky apps as well as my emails a million times a day.  I ordered the 14 Pro Max from Sky about three months after it launched and was even waiting three weeks then. I'm not working from home this week either so if it does decide to show up, I hope DPD will allow my mum to accept the delivery.

I read somewhere that they will let someone in your household or someone with your last name I think

Yeah, as long as you have ID.

They do allow sombody at home to take delivery, sometimes they want them to have the same last name but in my experience they are not overly fussy and you could show them a Mars bar as ID. My issue is myself and my wife are almost always at work at the same time but I'm sure I will figure it out when the times comes in March of 2025.
