Over half of those 266 pages are the same ones saying how many times that day they've phoned or talked to Sky on chat to be told the same as the previous times - check your order tracking! 

The rest are people coming in saying they just pre ordered a phone, upset to be told it won't be here that week and when can they expect to receive them. 

Tbh I think the mods of this place should pin a sticky with the answers for the most common questions so the same ones aren't repeated every day to which nobody here can answer. 

I believe the current wait time for stock is up to the first week in November now according to Apple. So hopefully you should get yours in the next couple of weeks.

In a way, those who haven't got it if it's any consolation, there's an issue with touch screen sensitivity currently which a patch was hopefully going to fix it yesterday, but it's still happening.

im on iOS 18.1 to test Apple AI so I also have the issue which is annoying so hopefully they might fix this when everyone here gets their phones - I'm even wondering if this may partly be why there are delays to shipments.

@catterbury @Tbf I said to my mum this morning sky are saving me money because I'm not paying for a more expensive contract at the moment 😅 

It's just fustrating seeing people getting the phones and I personally have had a very poor experience with sky this time round. 
hopefully that issue is sorted soon, must be annoying paying for a premium phone which isn't up to premium standard

Definitely! The phone wasn't ready to be released in my opinion.

AI should have been out on release, and these issues shouldn't exist - not something as critical as touch screen sensitivity. 

Everyone should be thankful in a way they're not paying for a 70% complete phone. And if the issues aren't fixed, just get a 15 instead.

As for the "people" ringing sky every other second complaining, the staff deserve a medal. I'd be fired within the first five seconds. I'd cancel your order and read you the riot act. You certainly aren't doing Sky any favours. If you don't want it, it'll just open the spot for someone else with common sense.

@Titchx3 came into the chat early, and it was clear from the start that JimblobUK wasn’t welcome. Unlike everyone else who was sharing the struggle, JimblobUK was moaning that the group should just "get over" the whole phone debacle. He didn’t understand the point of the group or the frustration built up from weeks of waiting and constant empty promises. While the rest of the members were there to support one another, vent, and push Sky for answers, JimblobUK was more interested in dismissing their feelings. Titchx3 wasn’t having it. If JimblobUK couldn’t get on board with the cause, he could see himself out.

As a lot of people have already said the main frustration has been the mix information being fed to us.  
I pre order my new iPhone every year and this is the third time through sky. This isn't the first time I've had to wait, we all understand that but it is the first time the shipping date has changed and no one has been able to give a straight answer. 
The main reason I was trying to get a shipping date from sky is because not all of us can just take a day off work with 24 hours notice and I had arranged a day off for the first date sky told me phone was coming and it didn't arrive. Luckily for me DPD tracking is good so when I received the message to say it was coming I was able to pop home in time to sign for it.  
Despite all our moaning on here we've not been rude to the staff we speak to just frustrated at the lack of information. 
I raised a complaint but all I've had in response was a missed call late one evening when I was driving and as I didn't pick up (no signal) they've  closed the case! 
We all understand the waiting but sky massively oversold the phone and the biggest issue seems to be the random order they were distributed while telling us it was in order of contracts signed and model and colour dependant. However it soon became apparent that wasn't true as my order was sent out nearly a week before an order of same model and colour that was placed an hour before me 🤷🏼‍♀️

So while we all understand it's only a phone, let us vent our frustrations to each other and if you don't agree then scroll on by
