Apple iPhone 16 range now available for pre-order on Sky Mobile

Similar situation, I ordered my desert rose pro 128gb on 13/9/24 at 5.30. Will be delivered tomorrow.

husband ordered 16 pro max 256gb in black, at the same time, email said from 20th, he's received a text saying by 4/10.

It is annoying but beyond our control x

Dailymail isn't talking about all the deliveries, when my friend was ordering two iPhone 16 pro max from apple website at 1.00 p.m exactly he ordered two and got the delivery date directly from apple of 20th September and then by 1.05 he ordered two more for his mum and dad and the date of delivery given directly at apple website changed to 7 October. In 5 mins it was almost sold out. So it's all game of who ordered promptly and within those 5 mins.

Ordered mine as soon as pre order started , 16 pm white titanium 256 and I've had emails from both sky and dpd telling me it will be here tomorrow any my sky account says dispatched . I guess it goes on when you ordered and what colour and size

Mine says dispatched I believe they will have all been dispatched by now if there coming tomorow

If you get your delivery then you get it if not it'll be before the 4th.

It needs to be at or on its way to your local depot by now for it to have any chance of getting to you tomorow it's too late for them to send out now it won't arrive tomorrow if it's not already at or on its way to your local depot

@Sophielu94 yeah it might not come for tomorrow but the rest of us who haven't had any app updates, dpd emails or texts about estimate delivery will start to hear stuff from tomorrow onwards about our orders.

I imagine my text saying: 

"Hi. We expect your iPhone 16 Pro Max to be delivered by 20 September 2024. We'll email you a day before it's delivered. Thanks for your patience."

was just a text sound out to most?

They're not delaying the release, they're just high in demand and ran out of stock - same thing happens every year.

If you don't order within the first hour of the pre order going live, then chances are you have to wait for the next lot of stock which is usually 2 weeks later. Nothing different this year to any other year.

i messaged sky help and one of the staff said: "We expect these orders to start being dispatched from tomorrow and we'll let you know once yours has been dispatched, with tracking details available."

hopefully, it updates over night :')

Seen a few people say they have had an email with estimated delivery date but I haven't had that. Should I have? I ordered on 17th and while I obviously expect a wait now would be nice to have a rough idea of how long. I've had an email saying phone and sim would be sent to me by courier and that I'd receive text and email updates from them but that's it. No estimated delivery date anywhere on that or 2 other emails from sky. On my sky it just says "in progress - coming soon"
