I received an email my iPhone 16 pro max will be delivered on the 20th as I pre ordered as soon as they were released. Desert titanium 

I spoke to an advisor this morning who told me I'll get tracking today. After seeing everyone posts I've called back up and I've now been told I'll be getting my phone around the 21st October.  No email from sky or anything.

So I have had an interesting issue come up.

iPhone 12 Pro Max - Ordered on the day the pre orders opened only to not have the phone delivered until November of that year. I was without a phone for 2 months (not kidding)

Fast forward 4 years...

iPhone 16 Pro Max - Ordered last Friday when the pre orders opened up. Fine. Received an email which clearly states "Great news - your new device and SIM(s) will be delivered on 20th September by courier to..."

Receive a text message today: "Hi. We expect your iPhone 16 Pro Max to be delivered by 27 September 2024. We'll email you a day before it's delivered. Thanks for your patience."

So called Sky to clarify only to be told mid October?!?!

I'm expecting a big resolve on this one. Same thing, 4 years apart. Surely they are in breach of their legal contract if they are stating a confirmed delivery date to customers only to delay?

Team on the phone did all they could BUT anything outside of tomorrows confirmed delivery is unacceptable in my opinion.

When you placed the order what did the email you were sent say and what does your online account say now ?

Just got the notification from DPD, the parcel is in transit to my depot will be delivered tomorrow. Still fingers crossed.

You'll receive, text and email updates from the courier about your delivery, so keep an eye out for these.

my online account says expected delivery coming soon.

@Mikeyuk  Had the exact same! same model and colour. I'm really impatient and I was super quick in the pre order process too. Got it around the 1:20pm last friday mark. Absolutely nothing from any of them

I'm fuming about it. I rang straight away to preorder  was told 20th email says 20th and now 21st of October?! Just how is that possible .... So to me that's false information false advertising. I've now got to pay an extra month as I'm out of contract as well as taking a day off work tomorrow!!

@Mikeyuk I've never had any problems with them as this was my first preorder but the amount of different things I've been told by different customer services makes me wonder what is actually the truth😂. I know you're not the only one taking a day off, i can't imagine how many of us have and ending up being disappointed. I had airpods bought way after pre order and they're coming tomorrow. Sounds like false advertisement from sky!

I've never experienced customer service like it. Self employed too so i won't make any money and now got to pay an extra month with my current phone.

@Mikeyuk not good enough at all. I've ordered a few bits off sky and I always get some sort of update really late at night. I'm holding out hope for both of us😂

I've now just had this text message... definitely not the 20th.
