Hey all, I hope you're having a good week despite all the issues with the iPhone not being in your hands.
I called Sky today because I was sick and tired of messaging the customer service team on chat and let's say from the tone of my voice, I was not happy, I explained about my situation and the fact that hundreds of customers have also gone through the same pain.
At first, the person I was speaking to, was trying to offer me a diffferent phone, saying that my phone that I ordered was not in stock etc. then my tone of voice changed even more and I was very straight with him as I had ordered the case when I preordered the phone. I explained that I preordered the phone from Sky on the 13th and received a text on the 19th saying that my phone was going to be delivered by the 27th and I'm very frustrated with Sky.
He then checked if I was telling the truth and behold, I was (the customer is never right with company support staff), he then told me that he actually did have my phone in stock and that I would received in the next 48 hours, I will get a text from DPD no later than the 26th September, I then asked him 'how do I know he is telling the truth', he then gave me his name and the case number to follow it up if it doesnt arrive on the date he said.
Anyway, the moral of the story:
if you got a text on the 19th saying that your device will arrive by the 27th September and you haven't heard anything, give them a call instead and be very strict with them because if I didnt call today, then my device would of been pushed back until October, despite me ordering on preorder day!
