App and website upgrades

For some reason I can't upgrade on the app or on the main website. 
I just get a technical error message. I tried phoning but only had an hour and obviously didn't get through. I've tried deleting and re downloading app. Any ideas? Picture of message I keep getting.

You will have to call about this of the website and app is doing the same tomorrow as there is no other way around it i'm afraid.

I've been having the same issue since December, have tried upgrading on the app and website and tried calling but it stays on hold for too long and I don't have time !
