Adding Sky Mobile

I have just signed mum up to sky. So far so good. We want to add mobile package and get her an iPad, so want to make sure I get this right. It looks like 1. Order iPad with data package on esim 2. Move esim from iPad to iPhone (iPad doesn't need data) 3. Move mobile number from existing phone to Sky Is that right?

Can you not order the iphone with an esim and just the iPad on it's own ?

 

You can transfer a number from a different network to Sky whenever you want by getting a pac code then giving it to Sky.

You can order an iPad without cellular - just WiFi. 
You can't move the numbers between Sky SIMS.
