sky go not working

New install of sky go 23.5.1.0  on windows 11 laptop (has worked previously)

App installs opens blue screen with downloading updates then changes to blue screen with white arrow and stays like that.

If i close and restart app get checking for updates then blue screen with white arrow and stays like that

HELP

Have done the usual remove all files, reboot,  reinstall and all anti virus turned off

I have exactly the same issue. Works fine windows 10 but not on my main windows 11 PC

HI Have been in a chat all day with the community team and no nearer to being resolved, they have passed it to back office colleages to investigate ??????.    Have done a full reinstall of windows 11 and still got same problem so must be something wrong with the app

I haven't gone that far, but did clear sky app and reinstalled no joy.

Windows 10 works fine which is strange.

I have exactly the same issue, I am using my new Windows 11 surface. I have installed the app, it loads the checking for updates screen, then goes Blue and then crashes. I have added the firewall rule and tried the run in Windows 8 options, neither have helped. It used to work fine on my older Surface running Windows 11.

Eventually got it fixed by logging on to a different wifi network. connected to my phone then back to router. been ok since.

Hi guys I got Sky Go to work finally after uninstalling Citrix Workpsace which was recommended on this forum as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the sky go app and allowing through firewall - amazing the effort and time you have to spend on something you hat should work seamlessly.....

Did you reinstall Citrix or just leave it off? I also have Citrix but need it for work.

I just uninstalled it completely as don't need it anymore on that laptop - bad solution I know

Ok was reading a post about using a different WiFi Network so thought I would try using my Mobile Phone as a wifi hotspot rather than my 4G Router..and guess what IT WORKED...  I then switched WiFi Networks back to the 4G Router and it still works (and tried opening the app connected to the 4G Network so I'm guessing that a fix has been implemented yeah!!!!!!!!

Annoyingly this didn't work for me. I must be caught by the Citrix issue but as I need it for work I can't really remove it. Oh well.
