I have the same problem and tried the same set of solutions with no joy. It had been working, as I had watched two films downloaded onto the ipad - then it stopped saying the device needs authorization etc. etc. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page.


This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:

When the chat bubble does appear you will have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed. To start the conversation just type in it.

@caesarome I raised the ipad & iphone needs authorisation about 2 weeks ago and you kindly escalated to Sky for me. At the time we were unable to resolve the issues and I then had to travel ourside the UK. I'm now back and am still getting the same error message using iPad and iPhone - now on my home broadband (which is Sky). Please could you escalate to Sky again? Thank you

I have the same issue, I have rebooted my iPad as well as deleted and reinstalled sky go but no luck, can you please assist?

I've used my iPad for a long time on sky go and for whatever reason I cannot use it I'm getting a message saying my device needs authorisation which normally is playing a channel or downloading something, but that doesn't work, the error message pops up.

 

i have rebooted, uninstalled switched wifi on and off but nothing works, a guy from sales who was offering me sky cinema was going to transfer me however I just got cut off which wasn't a surprise!
