Using Sky Go and Sky Sports App on same device

Hello,

As far as I know it is not possible to watch football matches shown via the red button on Sky Go, but it is possible on the Sky Sports App.

When I use the Sky Sports App on a device which has already been registered via Sky Go it treats it as a new device in "my devices". Does that mean this device now effectively counts as two towards the six device limit?

Thanks

Bradley

It shouldn't been seen as a new device as you can install and use both Sky Go and the Sky Sports app on the same device as they should be counted as one.

Well, that is what I would have expected, but it definitely has treated the Sky Sports App instance as a separate device.

I gave all the registered devices custom names to help identify them. When I used the Sky Sports App for the first time, a new "Android Phone" appeared in the list.
