Unable to Access Remote function in SKY GO App

When I select the "Remote" icon at the top right of the screen in the "Android Sky Go" app I get the error message "No Boxes Found, An error occured and we were unable to find a Sky Q Box".

 

My SkyQ box is connected to the internet via an Ethernet cable to my internet router and my mobile device is connected to the same network. The setting "Connect to Sky Q box" is set to "On" in the Sky Go App.

I am able to select a program on the Sky Go App and record it on my SkyQ Box.

 

I am aware that you need "Sky Multiroom" in order to watch programs on the Sky Go app that have been recorded on your SkyQ box.

 

I don't have Sky Multiroom, but why does the remotefeature not find the SkyQ box?
