Can't run Sky Go app installer on MacBook Air 2025 M4

I am new to MacBook anbd am trying to install the Sky go app on my Macbook Air 2025 M4 

I can download the installer but when selected in downloads, it simply downloads the insaller again and does not run the installation of the app?  What am I doing wrong?  I have Sequoia 15.5 OS
