TV connection

Seen several posts on this but still struggling to understand just what is possible when it comes to viewing SkyGo on a TV. I'm not talking about casting - just connecting a cable between the device and the TV. So can someone give me the definitive answer as to whether any of these will work:

1) iPhone/iPad (From what I can gather, the output is blocked)

2) Apple laptop

3) Windows laptop

4) Windows tablet

5) Android tablet

Thanks.

Re: TV connection

I don't mind old school at all. Was that a Windows laptop?
