SkyGo Windows app crash on start

I have not been able to access SkyGo via the Windows app for a very long time now. Used to work just fine and then all of a sudden the app starts to freeze when I open it.

 

I get as far as the accepting cookies window then the whole app freezes complete, I have tried the reinstall, I have tried running as administrator. Has anyone else been able to solve this, a quick google shows this has been happening for a number of years now.
