Re: Sky go error message 001 on windows
This was previously posted by another member so not sure if it helps or not:
a) Click Start, type 'Firewall' and select Windows Defender Firewall.
b) Top Left of this window, select 'Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall'
c) Bottom Right, click on 'Allow another app.'
d) Click Browse and Manually navigate to the Sky Go exe file using the
e) "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Sky\Sky Go\Sky Go.exe" the location of the exe.
d) Add this exe to your list of Firewall exceptions.
e) Check the list and make sure Sky Go is there and it's box is ticked.

Via Windows Explorer you need to make sure the option to show hidden files is not ticked then you should see it.

Re: Sky go error message 001 on windows
I am having the same issue. Tried the firewall thing and didn't fix it. Tried clearing the cache (following online instructions) didn't work. Uninstalling and reinstalling works for a while then I get the error message again. Frustrating thing is when you uninstall and reinstall, it has no memories of how far you got in the latest season you are watching so the continue to watch doesn't show what you've watched on your laptop. Just what you've watched on the box. I'm sick of having to uninstall/reinstall on almost a daily basis. I don't suppose you've found a solution yet, have you? I'm scouring the forum for solutions at the moment. Everytime I reinstall, I get an email saying I've logged in on a new device yet it's the same device as the previous times.
