Sky Go Android 17

I have a new tablet with Android 17. I can download the app from Google Ply but whn I try and run it it just keeps telling me there is s problem with the cache, which it then clears then reports there is a problem with the cache.

I dn't get this problem on two other Android 16 devices.

Has Sky stopped support for Sky Go, or is it just Android 17 that it is not supporting?

@anniebody What tablet do you have ? and are you sure it has android 17 pre-installed as Google state that android 17 is not due to be released to the public until June at the earliest and normally it rolls out to google devices first

Re: Sky Go Android 17

You're right, it is 16.  I updated from new and assumed it was this version. Doesn't resolve it not working at all though does it! Samsung Tab S10 Ultra not that that should make any difference to how android apps work, or not.

Re: Sky Go Android 17

You now invite me to comment how you have done, even though you appear to have done nothing. Given the way Sky goes about it's business by refusing to provide supprt that is why I had to ask the community, because Sky do not actually want to know.

Instead of threating me to respond within 48 hours or else the ticvket will be closed, why doesn't Sky first send me some support for me to actually reply to. Apart, that is because Sky are useless and don't actually care while they are making money hand over fist.

As I can no longer use the Sky app because it is unsupported, as per the Q system software bugs that never get rectified, that is another nail in the coffin for Sky.

You want feedback then all I can reply is USELESS, USELESS, USELESS!

Now, before you ask why I have stated this , it is because Sky ARE actually useless!

Android 17 is still in beta test. Sky generally don't support an OS until its had the first production release.

You appear to be misinterpreting that message: it's informational, not a 'threat'.

The support, if any is available, comes from accepting the invitation to the online chat.
